The aim of this intensive course is to develop an understanding of American culture as well as strengthen skills in reading and vocabulary. Through reading a popular American novel, To Kill a Mockingbird (Alabama Monogatari), students will learn about the history, geography, economics, and politics of the U.S. Assignments will include quizzes on each chapter and Internet projects.
This course is particularly recommended for those who are planning to study abroad in North American universities. However, it is useful for any students who want to improve their skills in English.
