At the end of each semester, you will be expected to submit a portfolio of your experiences in this class. The purpose of a portfolio is to show what you personally have learned and your accomplishments. Therefore, each student's portfolio is unique. It may include anything you like related to language teaching, not just material from this class.
Suggestions for your portfolio:
a vocabulary list of language education terms [from the class handout] explained and/or illustrated in English, of course).
ORIGINAL exercises you did in the class.
games or activities you have created to use in your teaching.
new ideas you have for teaching as a result of this class, possibly even in the form of lesson plans.
reports on conferences, lectures, or seminars on the teaching of English that you attended.
summaries of articles or books you have read, including material from the Internet.
an annotated list and evaluation of Web sites you have found that may be useful for you in your teaching.
NOT simply the handouts from class; in other words, nothing I have already seen.
