Fresh-Sophomore at Oshkosh State Teachers’ College.

Moved in with Aunt Lottie. Put in a bathroom.

She died in two years. Folks lived there until World War II started, and they moved to Michigan in 1942 where Dad worked in a paper mill.

With Gladys McNutt’s aunt on Lincoln Avenue. She turned the front parlore into our bedroom, with a heavy curtain over doorway into hall, a double bed and a dresser, and cooking privileges in her kitchen with food we brought from home. Shared a bathroom with family upstairs. Each of us paid her $2.00 a week.

Last 2 years on Jackson Street, upstairs, which had 3 bedrooms and a kitchen. Give of us lived there.
