FRANCE TRAVELOGUE | PARIS | BAGNEUX | JUIGNAC | FRENCH FOOD | FRIENDS
When Ann first suggested taking a walk together in Paris, I thought it was only a fantasy. For one thing, we were only friends via the Internet. However, I accepted her invitation and, because of her generosity, had a wonderful time in Paris, staying in the suburb of Bagneux.
Ann's son and daughter, Patrick and Peggy, are both university students. Through them, I had an insight into French life that the usual traveler doesn't get.
I mustn't forget the hospitality of Muffin and Lulu, two extremely friendly cats.
When Anne and Michael heard I was coming to France, they also invited me to stay with them. In the small town of Juignac, I got a view of life in the country, completely different from that in Paris. Here you see them in the city of Poitiers where they met me at the train station.
