My nephew, Damian Wiesbach-Leach, lives in Los Angeles. He is currently an assistant producer, writer, director, cameraman, editor, actor, graphic designer, and musician for Click This TV, a a sketch comedy show he and his colleagues developed for public access TV. The program won Best Comedic Short Film in 2001 and was in the Hollywood Underground Film Festival.
He does script supervising, graphic design jobs, and cameraman jobs as well as writing screenplays. He and co-author, Edward Doty, are recent winners of Distinguished Screenplay Award at the Angelciti Film and Music Market, so I expect to see him at the Academy Award Show some day. In 2002 he was the cameraman for a film crew that did a documentary on Pride, a competition of martial arts held in Amsterdam.
As for music, he plays keyboard with two different bands; one plays an interesting combination of spoken-word poetry and progressive rock, the other is a rock band which has "created quite a hybrid of different musical styles." He also plays saxophone in the spoken-word band. The spoken-word band has been playing shows once or twice a month at local coffeehouses, and the other band just finished recording a demo CD.
