TESOL 2004 - Long Beach

	Although I was only able to attend one day of the TESOL 2004 Convention in Long Beach, I met several colleagues, both old and new.



	Carol Houser Pineiro was a colleague and good friend of mine when I was working at CELOP, Center for English Language and Orientation Programs, Boston University.

		In the publishers' section, I ran into Dave Sperling. He's the owner of the website Dave's ESL Cafe, where I volunteer at the ESL Help Center.





		Carol had met this teacher when she giving at presentation in his country, the Dominican Republic.

	Another colleague from CELOP, Margot Downing, and I had a chance to talk shop after her poster presentation.



	Teachers gather from many parts of the world, so it's interesting to compare notes about students, curriculua, and many areas pertaining to ESL.
